Very kind staff, delicious tapas, fine cava. Perfect combination!
Make sure you try the Valencian tomato where the thick slice of Valencian tomato is topped with goat cheese and cured red tuna!

Everything was good, except we ordered the veal which they told us after serving other items that they didnt have. So we switched for the more expensive steak. Taste was good, but very fatty which wasnt cooked as well as it could be. Probably 30% inedible fat

Sorry to say but we had a pretty awful meal here. The service was nice however the meals weren’t so great for us. The octopus wasn’t great and we had to return the fish (sea bream). The prawns were ok.
The staff were nice and responsive but sorry, I wouldn’t recommend this place.
It was an easy booking system via WhatsApp - hopefully you have a better experience

Clann Bar Tapas was a fantastic experience! The atmosphere had more of a pub-like vibe, with great music and a lively, welcoming feel. The servers were super friendly and made us feel right at home.

The food was incredible, especially the calamari—it was the best we’ve ever had! Perfectly cooked, very soft, and full of flavor. The tapas, in general, were delicious, and the whole experience was just perfect. If you're looking for great food in a fun and relaxed setting, this place is a must-visit!

We wanted to eat something vegan. We liked to have some juices to drink.
The plate with vegetables was very small for 15,50 Euro and VERY salty. The other non vegan meals were also mediocre. As juice we just got orange juice.
We won’t come back again.

It is the second time I go to this place with my partner. It was the first place we ate in Valencia and it will always have something special for us, and the second experience was better than I remembered, which was already good.

The treatment from the waiter who served us was 11/10, we don't know his name, a blonde guy. With workers like this, a restaurant experience improves significantly. The place is small but very cozy, with rustic decoration that gives warmth to the place. It is lost in one of the many streets of Valencia and that gives it great charm. You can find great gems where you least expect it.

The food, one of the best I have ever had when eating out. You can appreciate some artisanal dishes with local products that are of sublime quality.
We do not skimp on ordering dishes, both starters and main dishes, wine (recommended by the waiter, a great success), dessert, coffee and bread with aioli, because the pleasure you eat there invites you to want to leave completely satisfied.

The delivery speed of each of the dishes was adequate, you don't have to wait long between dishes, but they don't all pile up on the table either, so that when you go to eat the next one has cooled down.

I have always been one to try new places, I love gastronomy, and of the places where I would repeat, which are very few, this would undoubtedly be the first.

I'm already counting the days to enter its doors again.

Ideal for dinners as a couple, with friends, or even if you want to treat yourself and go alone.

We have been frequenting Clann for 3 years and it never fails. The food is consistently fresh and tasty, and the service is professional and experienced. Plates that stand out are the Provoleta cheese, calamares, clams in shells and the tomato salad. Wine selection is also on point.

Good tapas and quick service. Nothing special though, we found the meat dishes a bit dry, although the mustard sauce served with the pork was yummy. Honourable mention to the sepia a la plancha, it was particularly delicious. We also enjoyed the Agua de Valencia, it was better than Cafe de Las Horas which is known for theirs!

Incredible, I was recommended by a neighbor of Carmen herself and she exceeded my expectations. I have gone 3 times with different people and everyone has loved it. Quality, market products. I recommend trying the tomato with goat cheese and mojama and the entrecôte. To finish, the chocolate cake is INCREDIBLE. In addition to all this, the waiters are attentive and friendly. Second time in a few months that we have eaten at Clann! Friendly welcome and above all some nuggets on the plate: the beet and sardine salad is crazy, the fried artichokes are succulent, the Argentinian steak with chimichiri sauce is divine, the street is ultra quiet because there are no cars, little traffic compared to other arteries… in short, eating on the terrace is really very pleasant…

We had a happy stop by chance on a Thursday afternoon. The tapas menu is not extensive but everything we ordered was delicious and prepared with flavour and skill. The squid was tender and delicious, the mini burgers were packed with flavour and the omelette crumbly and light. I added the special sangria, which was light and refreshing, though I’m not sure why it commands such a high price, I can complain as it was what I had hoped for. The staff were all friendly and dishes were delivered to share when ready. Overall we are very happy we were off the usual track and found it.

Went here with my ex wife on our layover from her new boyfriends wedding in the Maldives to try maybe work everything out and give it another shot as she is the love of my life and is a big enjoyer of grilled meats and seafoods. Our first date was in a seafood restaurant. The beef came out and it took me 3 days to chew it, this made it impossible to win her back as I couldn't speak. I was then rushed to hospital with lock jaw. 0 stars if I could would not recommend.

This was the first restaurant I visited during my trip to Valencia, and I had high expectations based on my previous dining experiences in Barcelona, Seville, Madrid, and San Sebastian. Our hotel, which was nearby, recommended this place. It's tucked away in a small alley, and honestly, if you just walk by, it doesn't catch your eye or make you feel like you should stop and try it.
We chose to sit outside because the inside felt a bit dull and empty, especially during the summer. The service was friendly and quick, which was a plus. We started with a pitcher of white sangria and then ordered our food. We had padrón peppers, Valencian tomatoes with goat cheese, grilled provoleta cheese, grilled artichokes, and finally, the house specialty: grilled squid.
Overall, I would rate the food as good to average. There was nothing wrong with it, but nothing stood out either. I think my expectations were set too high, so I ended up feeling a bit disappointed.

We ate there on a Tuesday lunchtime after visiting the cathedral (family of 2 adults + 2 teenagers). Very warm welcome from everyone, but Nacho was our server for our table. He does not speak French, but showed patience and smiles to understand us (a mix of Spanish and English), knowing that it is possible to have the map in French thanks to a QR code. Nacho advised us on tapas, so we were able to try
- their squid (delicious but salty),
-their beet/orange salad with sardines
- Iberian ham (delicious) with more classic cheese,
- tomato with ham and goat cheese (also very good).
- small basket of toast to dip in melting cheese, Argentinian specialty
We tasted a red sangria, and a rosé which is lighter accompanied by olives. We enjoyed this break and this lunchtime welcome with fresh produce.
You should know that unlike in France, bread and bottle of water are extra in Spanish restaurants.
All inclusive we got for 79€ for 4.
We, like the children, were delighted.

We were the first customers and the only ones for quite a bit after the restaurant opened but the waiter didn't even give us 3 minutes before he asked what we wanted to order. He then came 2 minutes after, we felt rushed, mind you the place was essentially empty. The food was alright taste wise, and certainly felt overpriced. We found restaurants nearby that were noticeably cheaper. We came here because of the 4.6 rating, we had a 3.0 experience.

This is very long overdue, but I have to show admiration for Jose and Pillar who provided me with not just some of the best food I ate during my visit to Valencia, but some of the best hospitality I have experienced.

I was lucky enough to stumble upon Bar Clann in 2020 before the pandemic. It looked like they were about to close, but Jose and Pillar welcomed me to join for some food and drinks.

The calamari was amazing and the pork cheek was so tender I can still remember it. I also tried rabbit for the first time which Jose made with simplicity but also incredibly delicious.

Thank you again and I can’t wait to come back next time I’m in Valencia!

The food was good, especially the grilled calamari, but the cost was really excessive considering the portions. Clearly a place for tourists, therefore very small portions and very high prices. Pretty good service, nothing to complain about except that they brought us the second half of the tapas 15 minutes after the first, and I didn't understand why since it was only cheese.
The food was good but the portions left me dissatisfied.

This is a nice tapas bar in a very busy part of old town. The ambiance and service was very good, the food was excellent. We were sat in the back near the toilets (it is a small bar) which was less than thrilling. I would recommend sitting outside, regardless of the weather.

We went to dinner and everything was on point. The tomato salad with mojama, the squid, the entrails and the spectacular entrecôte... We weren't expecting anything special and it left us speechless. The food is not pretentious at all, it is simply a good product and very well prepared by the cooks. For dessert we ordered the mango and caramel creme brulee mmmm, brutal. The service very good too. Good little tapas bar. My favorite were the tomatoes with goat cheese and ham. The other tapas were also very good. And generous portions.

The “large” 1kg steak, which the waitress said was too much for 2, had so much bones and fat that 2 adults unfortunately couldn't get enough of it.

Nice place in a small street. It took a really long time for our food to be served, but the staff gave us olives while we're waiting.

Fresh grilled shrimp. I also liked the Valencian burger with delicious potatoes. The artichokes seemed to be a bit undercooked, they were quite hard. The sangria was delicious and refreshing.

Overall, not a bad place. Might be worth a visit.

Excellent place/tavern with traditional food but without giving up current gastronomic touches. Also traditional decoration, appreciated in the midst of so many gastrobars (all the same).

A little beyond the Plaza Redonda in Valencia.

Excellent squid, the wonderful secret, with Indian touches in the sauces, Valencian tomato 🍅 that tastes like tomato.

Highly recommended, not a very large but endearing place if you want to escape from the super-massive tourist sites.

This was the first restaurant my wife and I went on our honeymoon and boy were we fortunate. This was one of the best dining experiences we have ever had. All of the tapas were fabulous and the ambiance was quiet and romantic, perfect for the first night getting settled in. The owner even offered us an after dinner drink on the house. We will definitely be returning to Valencia and Clann Bar Tapas again!

The food a total disaster. Cold Valencian tomatoes without any aroma, normal if they have been in the refrigerator, real chefs know this. Padron peppers in garlic oil!! And this was served to us after I had mentioned that I have a garlic intolerance. The peppers were not done, they were also served with ham that turned into chewing gum. Grilled meat and vegetables, burnt potatoes on one side and not done on the other. Cooked without salt. The place is quite nice and quiet, the wine average, not corresponding to the price. Shameful. I would give the food 0 stars if it were possible.

We came across this bar by chance in the evening and had very good tapas. We ate the beetroot with orange and smoked sardines, which was really very delicate and well balanced. We also had grilled squid, which we have never eaten so well either. Super tender and delicately seasoned. Then there were tomatoes with goat cheese and dried tuna. It wouldn't be bad if the tomatoes were at room temperature, but they came straight from the fridge. But the goat cheese was very tasty (if you like goat cheese) and the tuna slices were also very good, although they almost sank a bit. The service was also very friendly.

We were lured by the high rating of this restaurant and we came for a try - unfortunately the experience was quite poor: all food was average - the pimientos de padron was not very fresh thus not tasty as the one we tried (&loved) in another high rating tapas restaurant. All meats were quite “standard” and a little bit “industrialized” - giving the feeling of eating in a Corporate canteen… the only above average tapas was the squid which was fresh and good. The staff is ok but long waiting (even asked several times for the bill) as there was only 2 serving around 10 tables.

Me and my husband called to reserve a table because we heard that Clann often is fully booked. We got very lucky because they had exactly a table for two left. We were treated very kindly and the staff was extremely welcoming. They helped us to choose delicious tapas and recommended us amazing drinks. Everyone spoke English and it was a very comfortable atmosphere. The place is easy to reach by foot and located in an area with lots of bars and restaurants, so if there is still space in the stomach I recommend to start your tapas hopping from here. We ordered many options of the tapas ( especially the squid and the argentinian meat from the rip needs to be ordered), had aqua de Valencia and the price for both of us was still very reasonable. We were also spoiled with a soft yummy schnapps at the end.
This place is a must try if you are in Valencia!!

My favorite tapas bar in the center 🫶 The food is really really tasty, I would say much lighter than the tapas in some other bars (less fried, more fresh food). It’s nice for lunch or dinner with friends (remember to book in advance for the evening!). You have to try the salad with tomato valenciano. Staff is always super friendly, food not overpriced. I’m coming back often with pleasure 🙂

We found this bar whilst cycling around the city at night. It was the sound of laughter that drew us to it. We liked the look of the specials board outside. It's an Irish bar that serves Argentinian food in Spain. I would have given it 5 star fir service, but we were left too long from ordering our first drink to ordering the food. Once we pointed this out to the waiter, not the sane person who had taken our drinks order, it was soon rectified. The food is great and was worth the slight delay. Cheese on toast never had it this way before, but ita great idea.

I went to dinner a little late, but they treated us very kindly, they advised us what to eat and drink, they were very fast.
Dinner was very delicious. We had dinner on the terrace and although it is centrally located the atmosphere was very calm. It was noticeable in the waiters that they were very comfortable with their work and that is transmitted in the affection with which they did things.

We really liked the place, the service was fast and those who work there are very friendly, they made sure our experience was good.

The food has a good flavor and has a very varied menu, so you have quite a variety to choose from.

As for the place, we sat outside which was nice until a while since those who live in the buildings above were busy screaming on the terrace. It was very uncomfortable for those of us who were outside and even those who attended apologized, although it was clearly something that was out of hand.

Ordered the Jambon mix plate with cheese, grilled squid and Argentine beef. The first two arrived but they forgot my main dish. By then I wasn't hungry anymore so ended up cancelling the beef which I was not happy about bc that was the purpose of the whole visit. Make sure to tell them to start cooking it right away and not wait for you to finish your Appys.

High prices and without being justified with the quality of the dishes. All dry and with excess minced garlic and parsley.
We ordered grilled squid [with the head] and secret, which wasn't a secret, it was pork loin that was very old and chopped into strips.
Perfect for the foreign tourist.

Food: The beetroot salad with sardines was amazing and definitely a must get. This is coming from someone who doesn't eat sardines. The grilled squid was great too although some pieces were a bit too salty. It seems like the chef went a bit heavy on the finishing salt. Grilled cod was bland and dry so would not recommend. Bread was mediocre but elevated with the mayonnaise and the oils from the dishes we ordered. Total was 57 euros which I found acceptable. 4.5/5

Service: Fast and attentive even with a busy restaurant. They had a promoter standing outside the entire time who would also check to see if you needed anything. He also made us feel a bit safer with leaving our phones on the table.

Atmosphere: Nice little alley with a large empty space on the opposite side of the street so you can really enjoy your meal.

The only negative note are the desserts. A limited choice: chocolate cake and tiramisu and the latter could not be called tiramisu: it was made up of layers of very thin coffee cake interspersed with cream. Tiramisu is something else entirely.
The only negative thing is the posts. Only two possibilities: chocolate tart and tiramisu which was not a tiramisu but simply a café tart with nata.

We went there after we saw the reviews here. What a disappointment! First they made us sit in a corner with a very bad smell! The sangria was not good, and the food maybe one of the worst i have ever eaten in a restaurant. The only delicious thing was the Squid! We were three, no one of us liked the food. So if you ever happen to go there i would recommend only the beer and squid but honestly dont do it!!

Great spot for spontaneous dining! No reservation? No problem! Friendly service and tasty tapas, though a bit pricey. Must-tries: liver mini burgers (if you enjoy that type of food) and amazing tomatoes with goat cheese. Argentinian beef was fine but a bit raw. Worth checking out!

Great tapas! We had the smoked sardines on beet salad which was unique and very good (make sure to get bread to soak up the liquid), the grilled squid which was just cooked and very tender, the Padron peppers (not very spicy but delicious snack).
The caramel cake was very good, but on the sweet side, so definitely something to share.

Sshhht, secret tip: this is definitely the best place to have tapas in Valencia! Trie the calamares or the tomatoes (with slices of dried tuna on it 😋). Top it of with a nice glas of white wine and finish with the chocolate cake (warning: only five million calories 😬)

The food itself was really good except for the bread. I’d just spent a week in the south of France so in comparison, the bread was awful. However, I didn’t order bread and then I got charged for it because it was brought out with my food. It was only €1.50 but on principal, it made me feel like I was taken advantage of as a tourist. The sangria was ok, but tasted a bit watered down. Was fine for my first night but definitely have enjoyed my overall experience better at other places.

A bit on the pricier end for tapas but you can immediately taste the high quality of food. Fresh ingredients sourced from the local market.

The calamari is their signature dish and is a must try - grilled til barely cooked and so tender you almost don’t need to bite. Be sure to have bread to soak up the oil and sauce with the calamari dish. I also loved the peppers with iberico ham.

This tapas bar is one of the best tapas bars I've been to in Spain !
The restaurant manager and the employees really love good food and share their passion with you.
The kitchen is very small because nothing is stored, the ingredients are seasonal and very fresh since the manager buys them at the market every single morning.

All the dishes were delicious, especially the grilled squid and the sardines.
I also recommend trying their Argentinian wine and their iced rosé with your tapas.

It was such a pleasure having dinner at this place!

Eher kleine Portionen. Aioli mit sehr wenig Knoblauch, dafür viel Zitrone. Dazu wurde richtig altes Brot serviert. Im Tintenfisch befand sich Sand. Gute Intensive Sauce beim Tintenfisch ,welche den Geschmack des Tintenfischs allerdings stark beeinflusst. Die gegrillte Gemüseplatte besteht aus frischem Gemüse und Champignons. Auf den verschiedenen Gemüsesorten befand sich die identische Sauce mit Essig womit ein Einheitsgeschmack entsteht. In der 1 Liter Karaffe Sangria befanden sich ganze 3 Hauchdünne Scheiben Orange bzw. Zitrone, sehr dezenter eher Wässriger Geschmack der Sangria. Ich kann dieses Restaurant nicht empfehen.

The grilled squid was very good, and everything, figatells, salad... it was dinner for three friends and pedimls to share. Very good vermouth drink too.

Good food & drinks - the sardines with beetroot salad were especially delicious! Attentive servers, lovely to talk to and joke with! Went 2 evenings in a row. Ask about the daily special.

Best food we’ve had in Valencia and decently priced. Visited here twice (so far) during our stay. You must visit - I recommend the sardine salad and the tuna on tomato with goats cheese!

Great food and drinks, nice service. We ate tomatoes, squids and Argentinian meat and they were all very good. Prices are typically between 10-15 euros per dish. I recommend this place.
